Hydrocal White

USG Hydrocal White is a high-strength gypsum cement that is perfect for a wide range of industrial and artistic applications. This versatile cement is designed to provide excellent casting and carving properties, as well as exceptional surface hardness and durability.

The cement has a recommended mixing ratio of 40-45/100 (water/powder) and sets quickly, with a setting time of 20-30 minutes. It has a compressive strength of 7,500 psi (52 MPa), which makes it ideal for use in high-stress applications where strength and durability are critical.

Hydrocal has a unique water-to-plaster ratio that produces a creamy, workable mixture that is easy to pour and shape. It also has a low setting expansion rate, which helps to reduce the risk of cracking and distortion during the drying process.

This cement is compatible with most types of mold materials and can be easily colored or painted to achieve the desired finish. It is also resistant to water and moisture, making it ideal for use in applications where exposure to moisture is a concern.
